I am gearing up for a two-week intensive bootcamp in Winnipeg with my producer, Inga Dievulyte. We are thrilled to have been chosen as one of four teams to be included in the NSI Drama Prize program. I have also never been to Winnipeg so I’m ready for the adventure alongside six other talented filmmakers.

NSI Drama Prize is an ambitious training course which provides emerging filmmakers with $10,000 cash and up to $25,000 in services toward the development and production of a short film (up to 10 minutes).

NSI Drama Prize has shortlisted my film adaptation of Daniel Karasik’s award-winning short story, “MINE”, produced by Inga Dievulyte.

The course provides emerging filmmakers with training in the various stages of filmmaking, thousands of dollars in cash and in-kind services as well as mentoring during development and production of a 10-minute short film. The final winners will be announced early February so stay posted!

CFC Reel Challenge First Prize Winner!

I am the proud winner of the CFC Reel Challenge 2012!

The short film titled “This Film” celebrates the many Canadians who work endless hours both in front and behind the camera to make the films we all enjoy so much. I am thankful for the Canadian Film Centre and the MPA of Canada for choosing the film. The Motion Picture Association will use the film for promotional screenings both in the USA and Canada.
